It was an amazing day (the only dry one in April) and the food and staff surpassed all expectation – indeed we are still getting comments about how amazing the meal was. Our favourite one was from the priest, Fr Tom, who said “The food was outstanding. To get all those meals out at exactly the same standard is something you usually don’t find at a wedding” – and he should know, I expect he’s done a few!!

Thanks again, we’re so chuffed with everything. And the bar staff were gems – use them again!

The event was fantastic and your staff did a superb job. There was not a single glitch. Special mention has to go to Richard was extremely professional and polite from start to finish. The guests, who thought he was our housekeeper(!) were extremely impressed with him. He is faultless, and a credit to your business.
We will of course, use ej for any future catering requirements.

This is Menna, Esyllt’s mother from Aberystwyth. On behalf of my husband Elgan and myself, I should like to thank you and your staff for all your hard work in Tregaron Memorial Hall on 31st March, catering for Esyllt and Ben’s wedding. The food was wonderful, and everyone who has spoken to us has complimented you. The day went very smoothly, and your contribution to that was very much appreciated. We were impressed by the way the waiters and waitresses went about their work quietly and efficiently, and blended into the proceedings so well. Please pass on our thanks to them. Thanks once again for the wonderful catering and drinks at the party.  We really can’t thank you enough both for the excellent food (which really was great I am only sad that I didn’t get to eat more of it, but the 2am pizzas were a true delight and so very welcome!) but also for the fantastic performance of both yourself and all of your staff, in terms of kindness, helpfulness and general willingness to please, in caring for all of our guests. The one additional thing I wanted to say to you was how much of a pleasure it was to work with you personally.  You were always cheerful, easy going and accommodating whatever was proposed to you. I would be more than happy to give you a really excellent reference.So, thank you once again for all of your help both before hand, during and the day after.  You made my life much easier and happier so you have my personal thanks.  And of course, thank you for the wonderful food throughout – just marvellous.

Only good things to say – everything ran incredibly smoothly. Richard was an absolute hero, and Nathan probably the calmest chef I’ve ever met. Everyone enjoyed the lunch very much, and I can certainly vouch for the yummy starter as Nathan very kindly plated me up a portion. It was absolutely delicious!

Thank you very much Karen all of you at EJ Catering! The surprise was very successful – Chris thought it was a fantastic idea and we enjoyed a leisurely evening relaxing together with delicious food and drink! May I thank you and your team for providing us with an exceptional buffet for our Chevaliers Bretvins Summer Garden Party. Thankfully we found a window in this awful recent weather such that the sun shone all day.  The dishes you prepared were excellent and thank you for your generous cheese plates. I was a little concerned about qualities knowing how ravenous our mob can be. I need not have worried. Not even they could totally clear their plates. How ideal to have such good quality food in sufficient quantities.  The menu cards were a nice little touch and hopefully will guide further business in your direction. Bride and groom now left for the US :( and we are all trying to come back down to earth.  We had a great day and Emma and her team came up trumps! Everyone was very impressed by the high standard of the meal and the friendly and efficient service.  The very welcome hot spiced cider went down extremely well after coming in from the cold. The appetisers were superb and plentiful- the sausages & mash – went down a wow!  Risotto was lush- and everyone enjoyed  the carving of the lamb- think the male “I’ll do the BBQ attitude” kicked in and it was a great ice-breaker. The lamb was delicious ……and those roast potatoes…yummy.  All the waitresses and bar staff were very attentive and friendly.  We have had sooo many compliments about the catering- think the marquee man took your details as he reckons that he has problems recommending anyone locally so I wouldn’t be at all surprised if you have to make your way back down the M4 again soon – hopefully not in the snow!
